SpaceX wants to put humans there by 2025. Lockheed Martin says it will get there by 2028. More than 20 missions to study the planet up close have been or are operational. There are two active rovers on its surface, while at least seven missions from six space agencies are still in the works. There has also been a Hollywood movie set on it. The romance of the red planet, it seems, isn’t going to go away any time soon. Spring-boarding off of this sentiment is a new series of posters from NASA exhorting people to be explorers and, some day, join the space agency on a journey to Mars.
