India reported over 20,000 new infections today. With this, the national tally of cases has neared 5.4 lakh. More than 16,000 deaths have been reported so far and 3.2 lakh people have recovered. Maharashtra continues to remain the worst affected state in India followed by Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
