Vidita Vaidya is a neuroscientist at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. In this episode, she talks about brain circuits that affect our emotions and stress, especially during childhood. She asks questions like ‘Why don’t antidepressants always work?’ and ‘What does this mean for the future of India?’ as part of her research, which has won the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, one of the country’s highest awards for scientific work.
