Video: Remembering Sambhu Nath De, an Oft-forgotten Figure of Our Science History

This documentary follows the story of Sambhu Nath De, whose path-breaking discovery of the cholera toxin in 1959 helped tame an epidemic disease and to establish oral rehydration therapy. But despite making such an important contribution, De has been an oft-forgotten figure in India’s scientific history. Through the memories of his family and close associates, this short film explores his scientific journey and the vulnerabilities of his later life.
